MTA is a 100% women owned minority Company that started in 1997. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality speech language therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy services to multilingual populations. We hope to embrace and build on the diversity of the populations we serve in the New York metropolitan area. To reach this goal, we select therapists who will advocate for the children they serve in whatever ways are appropriate professionally and ethically. This includes choosing therapists who understand how important it is to initiate and maintain contact with the child’s parents so that the therapist may be a resource for them, as well as for the teachers and other educational professionals involved in the decision making process that affects any child’s educational potential.
So that our therapists can do this vital work, Multilingual Therapy Associates is dedicated to providing superior staff support through direct and indirect clinical supervision services on and off site. We value our role not only as an employer, but also as a liaison between any clinician and any given work place. We provide whatever training and support our clinicians need using whatever resources are at our disposal so that our clinicians may provide superior services in treatment and diagnosis wherever they are assigned. Finally, to go beyond the level of training and support we can provide, we will work to enhance the clinician’s opportunities for continuing education.
Multilingual Therapy Associates is committed to clinicians who are constantly expanding their clinical skills, including their knowledge of languages and other cultures. We know that clinicians interested in maintaining a high level of proficiency also demonstrate an ongoing enthusiasm for their work that comes from their attention to staying on top of their field. By focusing on clinicians who maintain this high-level of proficiency and enthusiasm in their chosen fields, Multilingual Therapy Associates will reach its ultimate goal: helping each child to receive the greatest benefit from the services our therapists provide
